Each year when the current AASM board president steps down and passes the torch to the new president, the AASM commemorates their previous “hero” for all they’ve done with a little framed gift. This is a creative project my boss knows I salivate over receiving time and again.

Photoshop excels at matching tone, texture, saturation, creating text effects, etc. The biggest test for me, however, is switching the direction of the light source when needed. However, I am always up for a photo compositing challenge.

Below is the first year I did this project, and I was assigned two. It took a while for me to get them up to snuff. Looking back I can see I didn’t fix the direction of the light and the color filters were off. I am still so proud of these in particular.
